NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, money-market deposit accounts, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs").

Accessing Internet Banking:
  

We recently added the Internet Banking Login directly  to our website ( located on the right hand side - top of the page)

If you are an internet banking customer and are not able to log in since this change, it is due to a couple of settings in your Internet Options that need to be changed.  This can be corrected by doing the following:

While you are on the internet -
1) Go to Tools on the menu and select Internet Options.
2)  Click on the Security Tab, then click the Custom Level Button
3)  About 2/3 of the way down, in the MISCELLANEOUS section, locate following options and set to ENABLE:  Launching programs and files in an IFRAME, and Navigate sub-frames across different domains.
4)  Click OK to save these changes.
